A delegation led by Prof. Yan Shijing, Vice President of Sichuan University and Secretary General of “China Center of South Asian Studies(CCSAS)” visited Nepal from March 27, 2019 to March 30,2019, in order to interact and establish the cooperation between China Center of South Asian Studies and various government and non-government institutions of Nepal.

An interaction program in this context was organized by Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu on March 28, 2019. Hon. Madav Kumar Nepal (Formal Prime Ministry of Nepal) was the chief guest in the interaction program. The other delegation members included Sun Shihai, Director General of CCSAS, Zhang Li, Senior Fellow of CCSAS, Huang yunsong, Fellow of CCSAS and Associate Dean of School of International Studies, Huang Zhengdu, Fellow of CCSAS and director Nepal Studies and Xiao Jianmei, Research Assitant of CCSAS.

 

The delegation led by Prof.Yan Shijing, Vice President of Sichuan University and Secretary General of “China Center of South Asian Studies (CCSAS) met with Rt.Hon. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Speaker of House of Representative of Federal Republic of Nepal and held discussions on various issues related to China and Nepal.
